I’m not a perfect parent.  You’re not either?  Excellent. You're in the right place. ​

My parenting evolution has brought me to a place where I now have the ability to respond to my son rather than react when he's really upset and expressing lots of feelings. (This sounds simple . . . but it's not easy and this is what I help clients with. . . particularly parents of strong willed kiddos). Am I able to do it 100% of the time?  No.  But I do it enough of the time and maintain my composure so I show up how I want to show up as a parent.   

It can be that way for you too.

You can feel connected to your kids and them to you even when they've done something you wish they hadn’t done. 

You can cultivate tools so you're the parent you want to be.

You can go to sleep at night feeling really good about your relationship with your kid.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of WI-Madison, and I'm also a Certified Parent Coach through the Jai Institute for Parenting.
